TempoTrax Heavy Duty XT – Ground Protection for Heavy Traffic and Temporary Roads

TempoTrax Heavy Duty XT (extra thick) is a ground protection mat for heavy traffic made from 100% recycled plastic (PP/PE). Designed to create temporary roads, work platforms, and storage areas where high load capacity is required. With a contact surface of 2320 x 1120 mm (2400 x 1200 mm total), a thickness of 48 mm (including anti-slip pattern), and a weight of approximately 85 kg, this ground protection mat offers an optimal combination of strength, flexibility, and easy handling.

The mats can withstand loads of up to 120 tons/m² with evenly distributed weight on hard surfaces, making them ideal for heavy traffic, trucks, mobile cranes, construction machinery, and other heavy equipment. TempoTrax Heavy Duty XT is developed for projects where traditional steel road plates are too heavy, expensive, or impractical to handle.

Thanks to the smart design with 6 integrated connection holes, the mats can quickly be connected to create stable temporary roads, wheel tracks, or larger work areas. The large format allows large surfaces to be covered quickly and efficiently, while installation can be completed without a crane. The mats can be handled manually by two to four people or moved using forklifts or excavators for larger projects. Connectors are sold separately.

The structured anti-slip surface provides excellent traction for vehicles and reduces the risk of slipping in varying weather conditions. The material is resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohol, and other harsh environments and does not absorb liquids or contaminants.
